Praise for Prophets

Just got back from Sacramento where I got to see Rob Bell in his Everything is Spiritual Tour. Mind blowing. That man is a genius. If and when this comes out on DVD, everyone MUST WATCH IT. I can't even put into words what it was like. Tonight I praise God for prophets, like Rob Bell. I praise God for crossing my path with another human who can explain to me what no one has been able to explain before. I praise God for sending someone into my life that is really teaching me something and bringing my mind into the Kingdom. These are the phrases that I heard tonight that I will remember and ponder for a long time to come.

In the beginning
Deep poetry
beatifully complicated
precisely created
dials
multi dimensional
it's not either/or, it's "yup"
humans = perfect mix of God and earth
Jesus is beyond our dimensions
climb the mountain and stay
We're not human-doings, we're human beings
Everything starts with the evening and ends with the morning
Be in the moment
You will see what you look for

I can only imagine how inspired and on fire you are right in this moment. I hear your voice cracking with excitement as I read your choice of thoughts to share with us. And I see the beauty that you must be seeing in those simple words. My favorite? That we as humans are the perfect mixture of God and Earth. Beautiful. And true. Thank you.

And don't forget this one...
Database angel to God: "Hippopotamus? How do you spell that?"
God to DB angel: "Anyway you want."

I really wanted to catch his tour. I gotta see if I missed him already or not. He's in SCal on a few dates but I've been so busy. He's my personal hero. Hey, with a book entitled Velvet Elvis, you know he's a genius!
